This week’s rant: People Suck.
I don’t think I’ll ever understand people. Why, in anyone’s right mind, would they ask for something then get mad that you did your job? Why would someone pay you for nothing, when you’re skilled at lots of things? Why do people in San Antonio drive so flippin’ terribly? That’s a big one folks. I’ve driven in pretty much all of the major cities in Texas and even all the way to California and I have never. EVER. seen so many morons on parade as in the streets of the Alamo City. I lived there for 3 years during law school and: got into a wreck because someone stopped at a yield sign when no one was coming. that’s right, complete stop. almost lost my life getting onto the highway because the person in front me came to a complete stop on the entrance ramp. again, complete stop. this time while merging. really? Today I’m just angry because people aren’t who they say they are. I’m pretty much an open book (obviously, otherwise I wouldn’t put my life on the internet) and I can’t stand it when people act one way when they’re really another. Why would you pretend to be an upstanding citizen/superhero who saves kittens from burning trees when really, you’re a jerk who would prefer to go home, drink beer and watch porn. Hey, at least I could respect your lifestyle if you were upfront about being a jerk.
And…I’m done. For now.
